The system has been screwing us for years. $60 a month for basic cable. $18 for a CD. $50 a month for decent internet.
Here are some links that will allow you to fight back.

Hulu.com provides free online tv and movies without signing up(except for the good stuff, aka mature material).
If you do register, you are provided with a queue to add to. Very short commercials(15 sec.) appear a few times through
each showing.
uTorrent is an easy-to-use torrent sharing program. Simply download the small file, install the program and instantly
begin searching online for free movies, music, software and more. I personally use btjunkie.org as a torrent search engine.
Fat Wreck Chords is owned and operated by Fat Mike of NoFX fame. Based out of San Francisco, they truly are a DIY record
label with many great bands, past and present. Offering great deals on CDs, LPs, Tees and posters. Don't forget to check
the concert listings and go see a punk show!
Still kickin' it after 20 years, Pennywise is an unstoppable force against the system. Their last CD, titled Reason to
Believe, was given away online for free during it's release week. Middle fingers to the music industry!
These crazy canadians may be preachy, but we still love 'em. Their website is filled with literature, news and even a
song or two.
